Seven Returnees Named to 22-Player Squad
The full Team Canada roster for the 2018 Sport Chek World Junior Championship has been announced, with seven returnees among the 22 players named to the national junior team. The tournament will be held in Buffalo, NY, from December 26th to January 5th, 2018, and Canada will be looking to defend its gold medal from 2017.
Team USA Defeats Canada in Summer Camp Opener
In their first game of the summer camp, Canada dropped its opener to Team USA by a score of 8-2. Alex DeBrincat led the way for the Americans with two goals and two assists, while Kieffer Bellows added two goals and an assist. The lone goals for Canada came from Pierre-Luc Dubois and Conor Timmins.
