Carolina Hurricanes set to shuffle lines ahead of Game 4 against New York Rangers

Changes could come with Frederik Andersen in net

Team looking to bounce back after Game 3 loss

The Carolina Hurricanes are expected to shake up their lines ahead of Game 4 of their second-round series against the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.

The Hurricanes lost Game 3 in overtime on Sunday night, and head coach Rod Brind'Amour said after the game that he was considering some changes to his lineup.

One possible change could see Andrei Svechnikov move up to the top line with Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen. Svechnikov has been one of the Hurricanes' best players in the playoffs, with five goals and six assists in 10 games.

Another possible change could see Nino Niederreiter move to the second line with Jesper Fast and Martin Necas. Niederreiter has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, but he could get back into the lineup if the Hurricanes decide to make some changes.

The Hurricanes will also need to make a decision in goal for Game 4. Frederik Andersen started the first three games of the series, but he was pulled in Game 3 after allowing four goals on 25 shots.

Antti Raanta is the other option in goal for the Hurricanes, and he has been solid in the playoffs, with a 2.14 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage.

The Hurricanes will need to be at their best in Game 4 if they want to tie the series. The Rangers have been one of the best teams in the NHL all season long, and they will be a tough opponent to beat.
